  1. grow的基本意思有三:一是“种植”,指培植树木、庄稼等; 二是“生长,发育”,指由于自然地发展而变大或成熟; 三是“渐渐变得”,引申可指“形成”。总起来说,指由小变大、由少变多,强调渐变的过程。
  2. grow作“种植”解时是及物动词,接名词或代词作宾语,也可接以名词或形容词充当补足语的复合宾语。
  3. grow作“生长”“发育”解时是不及物动词,其后接介词或副词表示各种附加意义。
